DECREE OF THE WEEK!
WE DECLARE THAT OUR HEARTS WILL BE FULLY OPEN TO OUR LOVING GOD AND TO THE FEAST OF GOODNESS HE WANTS TO SHARE WITH US ALL!
Revelation 3:20, Behold, I’m standing at the door, knocking. If your heart is open to hear my voice and you open the door within, I will come in to you and feast with you, and you will feast with me.
When I was growing up I had this small card that I had blu-tacked to the wall above my bed. It had a glow in the dark cross on it, and above that was a photo of Jesus knocking on a door waiting for an answer. Let that image of a loving Jesus knocking on our door waiting for our response sit with you for a moment. Jesus IS knocking. He wants to be let in. He has a feast of goodness just waiting to share with us, all we have to do is invite Him through our door to join us at the table.
How does that make you feel? Excited? Expectant? Saddened maybe? Sit with how it makes you feel. Ready to rip open that door? Go! Invite our loving Jesus in. Sad knowing that He's out there waiting? Our patient God is so excited to come in and join you today and always. All He wants is to be in a intimate relationship with us. Invite Him in.
Jesus, please come and open wide the door of our hearts. Come, join us at the table, so we can fellowship together, so that we can grow in intimacy and love together. Gather around our table as the expectant Saviour, we are ready for our next converstation together. Teach and show us the things of your heart, because we just want to know you wholeheartedly and completely, as Our Best Friend and Lord. AMEN.
