The Secret Garden inside me

The Secret Garden inside me.

Golden rays radiating through tree branches.

Foxglove and Hollyhocks dancing in the gentle breeze.

Sunshine caressing my cheeks all blushed. 

My God walks alongside me. 

Willie wagtails robotically pounce from shrub to branch.

Tiny rabbits scurry into a hedge.

The twitter of the wee baby finches.

My Shepherd sits up close to me. 

Roses of pink bouncing big blooms.

Butterflies of rainbows fluttering free.

A field of daisies ready for crowns.

The Spirit dances with glee.

We laugh, we talk, we embrace together.

In this place they made for me.

This vast oasis of beauty and splendor,

Is the Secret Garden that lives inside me.
